May 29, 2008 Yesterday I was watching Good Morning America and I saw the 3 evening news anchors talking about cancer and a new web site. The web site is called Stand Up to Cancer. It funds cancer research. As I was watching them talk I thought I don't know anyone with cancer and before I could finish my thought I realized I know 2 people who have or had cancer and 1 person who lost a tough battle with cancer. Of course, as I continued to think about it there are others I know about through friends and family who have a loved one with cancer. I went to the web site and decided I wanted to personally have a part in finding a cure for cancer. I donated in honor of my Grandma Out West, who is a wonderful woman. She has been like a Mom and Grandma to my family. I hope you know your East Coast Family loves you!! I felt like I needed to help spread the word, but please if you are interested go and check them out for yourself.
